Through my pre-visualized storyboards and communication throughout the process, the animator and I developed the theme of the “outdated” idea of retirement.
We put these old stats and attitudes in a museum, to convey how they are “out-of-date.”
And maybe even a little “out-of-touch” with the actual realities of retirement.
Lining my script in conjunction with the storyboards is also an important step toward create the proper pacing in a video like this.
